Matthew Coley is a percussion and hammer dulcimer soloist and collaborator. Matthew has presented solo concerts and performed as a soloist with orchestras and ensembles throughout the US and abroad. He has performed as soloist with the Millennium Chamber Players, San Francisco Sinfonietta, Kurpfalzisches Kammerorchester Mannheim, and Moldavian Teleradio Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, Matthew is the Percussion Faculty in the Department of Music and Theatre at Iowa State University.

December 13-15, 2013 - SOLSTICE Duo (Coley and Lynn Vartan) premiere Brad Dutz's Masks of Exquisite Dining, a new duo for dulcimer, marimba, and hand drums in Chicago at Links Hall.
January 24, 2014 - Coley premieres Bjorn Berkhout's new solo for dulcimer, Torque at Iowa State University.
February 20, 2014 - Coley premiere's Dexter Morrill's percussion ensemble version of Fantasy with piccolo soloist Scott Metlicka and the ISU Percussion Ensemble.
March 16, 2014 - Coley performs the Canadian premiere of Andrew Ardizzoia's Glass House Concerto with the University of Alberta-Edmonton Wind Ensemble.
March 30, 2014 - Coley performs the premiere of Steve Simpson's new piece for solo dulcimer and percussion quintet with the University of Iowa Percussion Ensemble.
March 31, 2014 - Coley performs Igor Iachimciuc's new piece for percussion soloist and bass sextet with the Chicago Bass Ensemble at the Chicago Cultural Center.
April 15, 2014 - Coley performs the premiere of Iachimciuc's marimba solo Through flowers and a new marimba solo by Neil Thornock at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
