Morning - FUNdamentals Clinics: Snare Drum and Timpani 101 with Dr. Nozny and Dr. Thieben
The snare drum is one of our most fundamental instruments in percussion. The skills that we build when beginning study on this single-surface instrument transfer to every other instrument we play in the percussion family. This clinic will serve as an introduction to the basic skills associated with performing on snare drum, as well as a guide to the variety of repertoire performed on the instrument.
